In addition, during correctional colonies of different types of regime, sections of the colony-settlement of the UKP are created, where convicts are serving sentences, to whom the court of the regime is changed in accordance with Art.

Part 1 of the article of the PEC of the Russian Federation is enshrined that the colony-settlement convicts to imprisonment is contained without protection, but under the supervision of the administration of the correctional institution. The convicts are allowed to wear civilian clothes, they can have with them and use money, valuable things, hours, receive parcels, transmissions and parcels. The number of dates for convicts is not limited. The passport and other personal documents of the convicts are stored in their personal files. If the convict does not commit violations of the established procedure for serving a sentence and has a family, then by resolution of the head of the correctional institution he may be allowed to live with his family on a rented or own living area located within the colony or municipality in whose territory it is located.

Such convicts are required to appear for registration in a colony-settlement up to 4 times a month. The frequency of registration is established by a resolution of the head of the correctional institution. Residential premises in which convicts live can be visited at any time by the representative of the administration of a correctional institution. The provision of such a right is not a convicted obligation of the administration of a correctional institution.

Accordingly, the provision of convicts of the right to live with a family is more likely an exception to the general rule, it is rarely provided. In most cases, convicts live in specially equipped dormitories. Dormits are divided according to the sexual basis of convicts if the colony-settlement is mixed. In particular, alcohol and alcohol-containing products, piercing-cutting objects, weapons, narcotic and psychotropic substances, mobile communications and communications or components and others.

The list of prohibited items applies to convicts serving a sentence in a colony-settlement, with the exception of food, money, valuable things, watches, clothes, hats and civilian shoes, bedding and lighters. With a full list of prohibited items, every convict meets the administration upon admission to the colony-settlement. Convicts serving a sentence in a colony-settlement, without fail, are involved in the administration of the correctional institution to work, taking into account age, education, health status and the availability of jobs.

Labor is the obligation of the convicted person and is regulated by the legislation of the Russian Federation on labor, with the exception of the rules for hiring, dismissal from work and transfer to another job. In accordance with part 4 of the article of the PEC of the Russian Federation, convicts are allowed to study in absentia in educational organizations of higher education and vocational educational organizations located within the municipality, on the territory of which a colony-settlement is located.In case of violation of the procedure for serving a sentence to convicts of the administration of a correctional institution, a disciplinary measures provided for by the article of the PEC of the Russian Federation.

In addition, a penalty in the form of a prohibition of going beyond the hostel in their free time for up to 30 days may be applied to the convicted colony-settlement, in accordance with part 5 of the article of the PEC of the Russian Federation. At the same time, the application of Part 5 of the article of the PEC of the Russian Federation regarding the prohibition of exiting the hostel in their free time from work for up to 30 days has its own problems.

Given the paragraph, in addition, the articles and the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provide for responsibility for the escape or evasion of imprisonment. Throughout the deadline for serving a sentence with the convicted administration of the correctional institution, educational and preventive work is underway. The administration is endowed with the right to encourage convicts for good behavior, conscientious attitude to work, training, active participation in educational events.

In addition to the PERSONAL of the CPSS of the Russian Federation, part 2 of this article, it is stipulated that the convicts serving sentences in colonies-settlements may apply an incentive measure in the form of permission to conduct weekends and holidays beyond the colony-settlement. The departure of the term in the colony-settlement is a relatively soft form of punishment in Russian legislation, which has its own specifics.

Undoubtedly, when serving a sentence in a colony-settlement, convicts have more freedoms than in a correctional colony, in connection with which, when the right to change the type of correctional institution occurs, the convicts send petitions to the court to transfer to a colony-settlement, realizing that the mitigation of the form of the regime helps to better adapt to life in freedom.
