Ekaterina Minkova Biography

The day of the Russian press, which is celebrated on January 13, has long been a professional holiday of not only newspaper men, but also employees of other media: radio, television, in a word - all journalists. Ekaterina Minkova is the head of the branch of the All -Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company of the Kuban GTRK, wife, mother, girlfriend, mentor, colleague.

And always a journalist, no matter what happens in life, wherever she is. Beautiful and mutual love with journalism happened more than twenty years ago. They went hand in hand a long way from the Minkova correspondent to the media manager Ekaterina Anatolyevna. What did the team live under your leadership? Tell us about the latest news of the television and radio company.

There are perennial traditions and professional foundations. The company is my Alma Mater, because I came here an experience as another year. I got into the state three years later. This is my house, where I grew up, where I was always interested. I left for a while, worked on the Kuban 24 channel. Two years ago, she returned. The GTRK was actively developing under the leadership of the former director, my mentor and teacher in all of Natalia Tovancheva.

The company became the most advanced in the region and the first, 6 years ago, switched to digital broadcasting. She always had something to be proud of. We are represented in all social networks. My task was and is - not to lose what has already been achieved. And, of course, increase the results. Two years ago, we began to go on the air of Russia 24 with information releases.

We have two channels and information programs different in filing.

On “Russia 1” the primary release is a more compressed version, and on “Russia 24” two half -hour daily final slots. This is done in another studio, the news is conducted by other presenters. Unlike the classics of the “second button” - here the format is lighter and more free. In the fall of the year on the second channel, a regional morning information and entertainment broadcasting was launched.

They specially built a new studio, only for this project. Live broadcast every day. Four charming leading and interesting topics useful to the viewer. We work mainly for the female audience and, by the way, we get great feedback. Which cannot but rejoice. We rebuilt a new broadcasting radio studio. Universal, stylish and multifunctional. And the hourly head of the talk show comes out of there, and information issues with thematic programs at once for three of our radio stations.

There was a small production radio production. The changes affected the material and technical base. The company purchased new equipment, updated the fleet, and repaired premises and buildings. Remember your first day on television, what did you feel? What was the first plot about? Then they did not come out “Vesti”, but the program “Kuban Day”, completely different people worked.

For me, these are legends, and they were very honorable for them. The television company at that time was headed by Vladimir Runov, who became my first teacher and guide in the world of profession. He just gained green guys, changed blood, as they say. We participated in big air, interesting projects. Of course, they didn’t get into the state immediately, at first it was possible to achieve 0.25 rates, then more.

It seemed to me that I was walking next to the celestials, because these people stood at the very source. On the first working day, I was given the task of calling the areas, looking for topics for plots. And later it turned out that I was sitting at the desktop of Sergei Kozhanov. At first she was speechless, and then she was incredibly happy that he managed to see him so close and even talk with the legend of Kuban television, whom I think he to this day.

Every morning I literally fled to work. Even then I realized that I found myself, my favorite thing. I had the first independent shooting in the circus, we went to shoot “fights without rules”, they took place in the arena. The operator was Yuri Arkhangelsk - a real professional in his field. He not only taught me to correctly keep the microphone during the interview, but also helped to cope with excitement.

But, nevertheless, this is all out of love, in fate. After all, I was first preparing to go to the phille. And once the teacher who prepared me for admission read my article in the newspaper “All sorts of things” and said: “Katya, you definitely need to enter the Faculty of Journalism.” I acted, and in the second year I already began to work by profession. I could become a teacher of the Russian language and literature.

But the letter with the article, which I sent to “all sorts of things”, changed my fate. And I do not regret it for a second. If I had the opportunity to turn time and choose a profession again, I would definitely prefer journalism. These are huge information overloads, and communication with different people, and an irregular schedule. How to avoid professional burnout? Otherwise, why?

I never understood people who consider days until Friday and hate Monday. Journalists have no weekend, but it does not bother me at all. And I never felt morally tired, burnt out.I did not experience strong psychological shocks, depression, the crisis of the genre. I just knew that I was in my place, so I did a job with pleasure. How, in your opinion, do not lose yourself in pursuit of laurels?

So Vladimir Runov told us. The pursuit of the laurels is a path to nowhere. As for cynicism, journalists are also professionally deformed people. The first time I caught myself on this thought still a student. With the crew, they returned to the studio and saw a fire. It turned out that we were in place before firefighters. They started to shoot. There were no people in a private house, he almost burned out.

When the roof collapsed in the frame “beautifully”, I was very happy that I would bring an exciting picture on the air. And when she turned, she saw horror and condemnation in the eyes of her neighbors. But we are not such from blood thirst, but for the simple reason that we answer the requests of the audience, show what is interesting to people, what the ratings are being held on.

And I do not think that this affects human qualities, it is only working condition. It is much more difficult with the general level of education, well -read and horizons of modern journalists. Of course, they feel, of course, in the regions. Therefore, unprofessionalism in professional journalism is a separate topic. How much journalism is now focused on helping ordinary people, to change their fate?

If we do not help someone, then we work in vain. I have such a motto in life: “Do not be in vain! A lot of information plots, thanks to which the same officials learn that there is some problem. We are eyes and ears. This is not always a pleasant topic, and the authorities sometimes do not want to discuss it, but we call them with our materials. It happens that people, trying to solve their question, knock on different doors, instances, but do not find a response.

And only when the problem is publicized, the case moves from the dead point. Does Kuban journalism solve the problems of modern society? For example, in the region there is a charitable foundation “Krai of Good”. Every year on the Kuban channel, the marathon of the same name takes place. He was last year. During the action, they raised money for the treatment of seriously ill children.

It is very difficult for parents to find funds to help their kids.
