Azat Sherenz Biography
On the day of the barn, his close friend Mger Mkrtchyan died ... And every New Year, in joy and fun, a sad motive arises when we recall that by the will of fate they both left almost simultaneously, as if not wanting to live without each other ... This was one of the tragic and exceptional coincidences that cannot be reconciled with. Friendship of Mger Mkrtchyan and Azat Carnets began in the distant X years, when Frunzik-Mger first crossed the threshold of the dramatic studio of the Gyumri Theater.
One of the first to noticed Azat Sarnets, who was older than him for years, and already played roles in the theater of masters. Immediately after the studio exams, Azat Sarnets approached the young studio and offered to drink beer together in Kiosk opposite the theater, the permanent visitor of which was a line. He was not friends with a drink, did not like those who are friends with Bahus, but drank beer with special pleasure - as if he participated in a large rite.
Approaching Frunzik to the kiosk, the line ordered: "Hugo, we are two glasses." Hugo Kiosker glanced at the thin young man standing next to the line, on whose face a huge nose caught his eye, his sad eyes, poured two large mugs of beer and placed on the counter. The lines took the mugs, solemnly headed for the neighboring bench and invited a young comrade. The lines drank with sips, kept the liquid in his mouth, as if he was losing, then he only swallowed.
Frunzik-Mger also began to drink beer like that, soon feeling that his head was dizzy. He did not ate anything in the morning, he woke up early in the morning and hurried to the exam, amazing the members of the examination commission. After the exam, he approached him the same studio Vardiy Vardrisyan and said: “What a talented guy you, Frunzik” ...
And now he has begun a slight dizziness. The lines felt this, went to the kiosker, brought a piece of fish and bread in a metal plate and forced Frunzik to eat.
That is exactly what a great friendship arose between them ... After classes and rehearsals, Azat Sarnets sat on a bench opposite the theater and waited for a friend. Then they went to the famous Bread Store of the Azgush, where the lines and Frunzika always met warmth. In this store, both were treated to a hot mattenakash, then they wrapped one bread and handed the grief to take home.
Sometimes they went home to the neck, where Knarik Eranusyan, the wife of the shelter, the daughter of a famous aristocrat, who was one of the first “classic” musicians Gyumri, played the piano, led classes with a choir ... after performances, also often came home to the neck, and they also came home to the neck. And Frunzik remained here to spend the night, because Knarik always had delicious jams with which tea drank ...
When Mger Mkrtchyan moved to Yerevan, he entered the theater. Sundukyana and Theater Institute, the Skin felt lonely and abandoned. He knew that his friend would not live sweetly, that in a hostel sometimes he went to bed hungry ... Heart was contracting, he covered his head with his hands and thought how to help a comrade. Sometimes Knarik put in a large briefcase of jam, fresh bread, flour, and sent with a shelter to Yerevan.
Mger Mkrtchyan said that when he left the institute and saw a sacrifice with a battered suitcase who glanced plaintively at his friend, he hugged and kissed him ... Soon the name of Mger Mkrtchyan became famous, he began to act not only in the Armenian, but also in Russian films, received a fee incredible at that time. Now his turn was to help the comrade. The lines and his wife were earned well, but Frunzik-Mger often came to Leninakan, brought with him everything that was not there ...
They sat in the living room of the Croats of the Skin and talked until the morning, sometimes hugged, bombarded on a razor ... At the end of the 10ths, Knarik Eranusyan received an invitation from the Tatula Altunyan to work in the Church Society of Armenia. We moved to Yerevan. There was no end of Frunzik-Mger. Now the line was with him every day, next to him. However, he was worried about how a friend was tormented without a theater.
There were few theaters in Yerevan, in the Sund Prukayanovsky Adzemyan refused to accept the sacrifice, fearing that he would once again be accused that the Academic Theater “fills” the Gyumrians. Zaven Tatintsyan invited an Azatu to the Skin to work in the theater of a young spectator, but he refused, in his soul a dream of working in the Sund Prukayanovsky Theater.
In M, work began on the filming of the film “Tsar of the CHAH”. This cinema almanac was dedicated to the anniversary of the birth of Ovanes Tumanyan, it included short films “The Hold of the Poor”, “Akhtamar” and “The King of the CHAH”. The filmmaker Ernest Martirosyan, who was supposed to start shooting the film “King of the CHAH”, approached. He looked for a long time at Azat, then asked Mger Mkrtchyan who this man with a peculiar appearance and likeness of the giant.
Mger introduced the Cornfish, then, understanding the meaning of Ernest’s question, he said: “You can invite you to shoot, the purest actor, sincere, uncomplicated ... of the type as a soup, there is no cinema in our cinema.” A few days later, the line was approved for the role of Melnik Tsar ... After years, at the initiative of Mger Mkrtyachyan, Azat Sherenz starred in the film “We and our Mountains”, creating one of the most significant images in Armenian cinema.
With Mger Mkrtchyan, the line starred in other films, however, in the film by Gernich Malyan, their partnership became such an art feast that no longer repeated. After the filming, they alone retired, read the script, discussed, argued, and the next day, having forgotten his “theoretical judgments”, each represented the image as he was captured in him as he saw him. Grant Matvosyan was not so pleased with the film, he had internal dissatisfaction, but always highly appreciating the joint play of the actors, highlighted the Azat of the Skin ...
In Yerevan, Mger and the Service were also inseparable. They were together everywhere. When Mger Mkrtchyan was invited to one or another theater, he was always composed by Azat Sherenz. Together in the cafe. Once the line complains that his eyesight deteriorated, it is necessary to change his glasses. Mger leads him to the doctor. The lines are trying on a few points, but not one is suitable.
