Biography of Condignin brief
Kandinsky is the Russian father of world abstractionism “Painting is a rumble of various worlds, called by Kandinsky history, millions of people create, but only units reaches strength, talent and luck in order to change its smooth flow. Vasily Kandinsky possessed all three qualities necessary in order to become one of the key figures of the history of art. Kandinsky is among the most striking personalities in the world of painting.
He is one of the founders of abstractionism, the creator of a huge number of paintings, the author of several books on art and a tireless researcher-ethnographer. Someone called him crazy, someone was a shaman, but who could doubt his genius? Kandinsky “blew up” the idea of painting just as at one time he changed his attitude to Michelangelo's sculpture. Born in a wealthy family with rich cultural traditions, Kandinsky received a magnificent education - parents saw their heir a brilliant lawyer.
But at the age of 30, he felt that he had to look for himself in painting and went to Germany, famous for his art schools. Studying the composition and features of painting and graphics, Kandinsky more than once came across a misunderstanding of teachers who found his color solutions too bright, and the layout of the picture is too free. The picture is a transition from realism to a new direction in painting and, one might say, opens a cycle of abstract works of Kandinsky.
The artist did not draw, but “thought” on the canvas: his canvases are a reflection of thoughts. Bright, as is the case with all extraordinary personalities, and seemingly chaotic, as is characteristic of the work of geniuses. For many years spent far from their homeland, they did not pay off Kandinsky’s love for the Russian people. The desire to reflect in the paintings the inner world of people encourages him to make several ethnographic expeditions, in which he studies Russian life, the history of religion and traditions that are rooted in paganism.
In memory of the talented artist, researcher and Novator, the Russian Cultural Fund of Arthronika established the National Prize named after Vasily Kandinsky. Artists become applicants for the possession of this award, whose work in one way or another affects the development of contemporary art. Random work.
