The bitter biography is detailed
Alexander Alexandrovich Blok the writer for the year became the beginning of the creative biography of the writer. It was at this time that he publishes his story “Makar Chudra”. However, fame came to him a little later, with the release of the two -volume "Essays and Stories." This book was a large circulation, which three times exceeded other editions of that time. The next poem by Maxim Gorky entered all the anthology.
Gorky did not stay away from children's literature. He writes fairy tales - “Samovar”, “Sparrow”, “Tales of Italy”, releases the first magazine for children in the USSR and is organizing holidays for the children of the poor. In the process of creativity, Maxim Gorky, an important milestone in Gorky’s work, became his plays “Meshchans”, “At the bottom”, “Yegor Bulychov and others”, in which he is revealed, like a talented playwright, and demonstrates his vision of the reality surrounding him.
A separate place in Russian classical literature is occupied by his novels “In People” and “Childhood”, the novels “The Artamonov case” and “Mother”. The last creation of the great writer was the novel “Life of Klim Samghin”, which is sometimes called the second name - “Forty years”. It took his writing eleven years of Gorky’s life, but, unfortunately, this work remained not finished.
The writer got married quite adults - in the acquaintance of future spouses took place at the publishing house of the Samara Gazeta newspaper, where Katya worked as a corrector. They got married and a year later became the parents of the son of Maxim, and then the daughter of Catherine, who was named after her mother. Gorky was also brought up by his godson Zinovy Sverdlov, who later replaced his last name to Peshkov.
Maxim Gorky and his wife Ekaterina Volzhina, however, the first love for his wife quickly passed, and family life began to burden the freedom -loving petrel of the revolution. The couple continued to live together, but only thanks to children. When their baby died, this was the reason for the divorce. However, the spouses managed to remain in good relations, they were friends and corresponded until the writer’s death.
They lived in a civil marriage for sixteen years. It was the cause of emigration immediately to the States, then to Italy. Maria had two of her children - Catherine and Andrei, who tried to replace his father. After the October Revolution, Maria plunged into party work with the head, the family faded into the background for her, and the couple parted in M.
Maxim Gorky and Maria Andreeva, the initiator of the gap was Maxim Gorky, he announced his wife that he had another woman. Her name was Maria Budberg, she was a former baroness and worked with Maxim as a secretary. Family life with Budberg lasted thirteen years. This marriage was also civilian. The difference in the age of the spouses was 24 years old, and there was no secret to anyone that she had a romantic relationship on the side.
Among her lovers was the famous science fiction writer from England Herbert Wells. It was to him that Maria went shortly after the death of Maxim Gorky. With a huge probability, we can say that the adventurer Budberg was a secret employee of the NKVD, and could well be recruited as a double agent, for example, by English intelligence. Death after he finally returned home in M Gorky, he collaborates simultaneously with several newspapers and magazines, publishes the books “The Library of the Poet”, “The History of Factories and Plants”, “The History of the Civil War”.
In these years, he acted as the organizer and ideological inspirer of the creation of the Union of Writers. During this period, his beloved son Maxim suddenly dies from pneumonia. This death greatly crushed Gorky, he seemed to go out.
The writer often visited his son’s cemetery, and after one of these visits he felt a sharp malaise. For three weeks, he was in a fever until Gorky died on June 18. His body was cremated, and the urn with ashes was placed in the Kremlin wall. But even before cremation, the writer’s brain was removed and was engaged in its study at one of the Research Institute. The grave of Maxim Gorky, after years, the question of the cause of the death of Gorky and his son began to ask quite often.
Too much was unusual in the sharp development of the disease and death. There was an assumption that they were poisoned and that Henry Yagoda, People's Commissioner and part -time lover Maria Budberg, is directly related to this. They suspected that Lev Trotsky and even Stalin were involved in the death of the writer. When a loud “case of doctors” appeared in the USSR, the three doctors were accused of the death of the writer Gorky.
